On November 22, 2014, friends and supporters of
the Piedmont Wildlife Center gathered at the
Durham Armory to help raise money for
the educational, conservation and wildlife
assistance programs sponsored by the PWC.
The 13th Annual Celebrate Wildlife Gala & Auction
featured an amazing array of items in the auction,
delicious food, and great music by Gregory Blaine and the band, Rootzie.
WCHL's, Aaron Keck, returned for a second year
to emcee the event. We were also fortunate to enjoy the experience and style of International Champion Auctioneer, Renee Jones.
Our net earnings were $25,500.00,
making this the most successful auction to date.

New bidding techniques allowed people to bid before the Gala, and even remotely during the event if they couldn't attend. Thank you to all the individuals and groups who donated items. |

Photographs and paintings of wildlife were very popular.
Even the food often promoted the natural theme.
This year's auction featured artwork created by our wildlife ambassadors. These one-of-a-kind items were created ahead of the event, but Miracle created one on site. |
